Robotic Skills Competition - The theme of the competition is "Chinese Civilization". The Chinese civilization is one of the oldest civilizations in the world. It has been glittering for thousands of years in human history. Every team should assemble robots on the competition field, program and debug the robots, then accomplish various tasks. The team who complete the most tasks or cost the shortest time to complete all the tasks will be the winner.
Robot Creative Competition---The theme of this robot creative competition is "Smart Robot". The contestants participate in robot creativity, design, programming and production in the form of individuals or groups. The contestants should carry their works to the competition field and set them up before the competition. The content of the competition is demonstration review and public display. It aims to train students to learn and synthesize the related technologies of various robots.
The FLL Robotics Engineering Challenge - the theme of the competition is "Space Journey". Every team must design, build and program the robot by themselves. The robot should complete tasks within a specified time. The team who complete the most tasks or cost the shortest time to complete all the tasks will be the winner. Fifteen different tasks and random combinations of tasks were set up in the competition.
The VEX Robotics Challenge - the theme of the competition is "Turn the Tide". In each game, two teams form a joint team to play. There are two different types of control methods, driver controlled and autonomous control. The team should control the robot to place the targets on the scores field reasonably in order to get higher scores. It is a competition to test the competitors' ability of field research, planning and teamwork.
Educational Robotic Engineering Innovation Competition---The competition is based on the theme of "Artificial Intelligence". In the competition, like software engineers, algorithmic scientists, robotic engineers, the participants should build robots and write codes so that the robots can complete the anticipated tasks of the competition independently. The robots designed by the team should complete 14 different tasks in 150 seconds, such as "Traverse Time and Space" and "Acquiring Energy Blocks".
The basic robotic skills competition --the theme of the competition is "Push Boxes". The contestants must use the limited space and passage skillfully, and reasonably arrange the order and position of the movements in order to complete the task successfully. This competition is a special project for the Youth Robot Competition in our district and it is also a competition with the largest number of participants.
Robot football competition---it is a competition in which the competitors simulate a football match by using remote control robots. Each game lasts for 10 minutes and is divided into two halves. The football matches are confrontational and competitive. The logical thinking ability, scientific and technological innovation ability and remote control ability can be trained by participating in the games.
The RIC Robot Innovation Challenge - the theme is "The Moon Landing Plan". Teams are required to design, build and program their own robots to accomplish various tasks in the simulated "moon landing plan" within a specified time. The team who complete the most tasks or cost the shortest time to complete all the tasks will be the winner.
VEX-IQ Robot Challenge---The theme of the competition is "Upstairs". The goal is that the candidate control robots to stack the wheels in the scoring position, to remove the hub from the suspension rods and accurately park the robots within 120 seconds, which aims to get the best score as possible. It is a competition to strengthen communication skills and innovation awareness, develop practical ability, and improve their interpersonal skills.
3D Printing Pen Engineering Challenge--The theme is “Trolley Running”. Participants should use a 3D printing pen to create a car structure according to the relevant thematic rules, and complete the competition. The competition aims to help primary and secondary school students familiarize themselves with structural design and construction techniques.
The Creative Programming Competition for Artificial Intelligence---Based on the theme and requirements given on site, contestants use the SCRATCH programming software for on-site programming. Each contestant goes on stage in turn for project demonstration and acceptance of questioning. The project aims to promote the popularization of programming skills among adolescents and lay a good foundation for the cultivation of their scientific and technological literacy.
Intelligent Design Competition for Artificial Intelligence---According to the theme and requirements announced on site, contestants improve their preliminary evaluation works within 3 hours. Each contestant goes on stage in turn for project demonstration and acceptance of questioning. This project aims to help students get further understand about basic skills such as automatic control and intelligent sensors, and train them to solve problems by using the theory and technology of intelligent science.
